RPPL & JK Tyre host maiden showrun of Indian Racing Festival in Srinagar

RPPL and JK Tyre flagged off the first showrun of the Indian Racing Festival 2024 in Srinagar, in partnership with Jammu & Kashmir Tourism. Against the stunning Dal Lake, fans witnessed Wolf GB08 and F4 cars in action, driven by rising stars like Sohil Shah, Rishon Rajeev, and Shriya Lohia. The event also featured pro drift shows, superbike stunts, and 10-year-old karting prodigies racing at 120 km/hr. This marks a historic fusion of motorsport and culture, igniting passion across India’s newest racing destinations. With five rounds set for IRL, F4, and JKNRC, the Indian Racing Festival is gearing up for a season of power, pride, and national presence.

JK Tyre‑Powered Indian Racing Fest at Tuirial Airfield

The JK Tyre-powered Indian Racing Fest took place at Tuirial Airfield in Aizawl on April 16, 2025, delivering a high-octane display of speed, control, and automotive excellence. Organized by G.I.G. Motors and NEXA Aizawl, the event featured Indian professional drivers and riders showcasing their skills with high-performance vehicles like Lexus, BMW, and the Maruti Suzuki Baleno in stunt sequences, along with superbikes such as the Suzuki GSX 750cc, Kawasaki Ninja 1000cc, and Honda CBR 650cc. Young talents aged 9–10 also wowed the crowd with Rotax Racing Go-karts, earning the title of “showstoppers.” Starting at 3:00 PM, the event packed in stunt driving, drifting, Formula 4 racing, karting, and superbike runs against a cinematic backdrop of runway ambience and ambient lighting. Sponsored by Lushai HOG, PETRONAS, BR Studio, and LBS KIA, with support from local groups like Tuirial YMA, Mizo Bikers, MiMSA, Mizoram Police, and the Tourism Department, the fest marked a vibrant celebration of motorsports in Mizoram. It formed part of a larger racing tour that began in Nagaland on April 12 and continues to Guwahati on April 20 and Sikkim on April 22.

JK Tyre brings ‘IRF’ to celebrate 50 years of Sikkim’s Statehood

As Sikkim celebrates 50 years of statehood, it’s marking the golden jubilee with a spectacular event for motorsport lovers. On April 22, 2025, the JK Tyre Powered Indian Racing Festival will take place at Burtuk Helipad, Gangtok, starting at 3:00 PM. For the first time, Sikkim will witness a high-octane motorsport extravaganza featuring professional car and bike stunt riders, showcasing daring stunts and roaring engines. The event aims to highlight Sikkim’s potential in adventure tourism and sustainable development. Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang will attend as the Chief Guest, reinforcing his support for youth, sports, and tourism. A major highlight will be the flag-off of “Mountain Rush,” Sikkim’s first TSD Car Rally, featuring 45 teams from across India. Participants will traverse the state’s scenic routes, experiencing its rich culture, biodiversity, and hospitality — becoming true ambassadors for Sikkim.

Indian Racing Festival Thrills Aizawl with Speed and Culture

The JK Tyre Powered Indian Racing Festival – Carnival of Total Control was held in Aizawl, Mizoram, on April 16, 2025. The event took place at Tuirial Airfield and featured a variety of motorsport activities, including F4 races, drifting displays, stunt bikes, karting, and a showcase of the Wolf car. Aizawl was the second stop on the festival’s tour, following Kohima. The event also included cultural performances, such as the Cheraw dance, and was supported by the Directorate of Tourism, Government of Mizoram.
